Spring & Summer Fashion Wishlist

Birds are chirping, trees are blooming and we finally have some sun. It’s officially Spring! New season also means new fashion trends and usually new clothes. I personally find it so exciting shopping for clothes for the new season, in some way it almost feels like a little celebratory ceremony! Not so much new season new me, but more like new season more gorgeous wardrobe additions. I’m sure I’m not alone in this feeling?

Spring and summer are my ultimate two favourite seasons of the year, I just love seeing everything come back to life. Enjoying cocktails with my girlfriends in the sun is lovely too.

Unfortunately spring and summer in the UK can still be a little tricky to dress for as we can have a sunny cloudless sky in the morning and torrential rain and wind in the evening. This is why my spring and summer fashion essentials always include lots of gorgeous dresses, shirts and a jacket (or five) that i can dress up and dress down.

Embroidered & Floral items

I just love this gorgeous and delicate trend! I’ve always been into flowers and delicate lace for as long as I can remember. Lucky for me (and for you if you dig it too) it’s available on almost everything this season from embroidered bralets to jeans and shirts. You can style this trend up or down for both day and night using the help of lipsticks, shoes and jewellery.

Mustard Yellow

Yellow always scared me because It’s so bright and in your face. Until one lovely sunny day in London when I was cold and had to borrow my friends mustard yellow blazer from Zara. The love affair began then and it’s still going strong over two years later. I’m so pleased to see this colour is still hot for Spring and summer 2017. Channel your inner sass with the stunning blazer and dress options I found at New Look.

If you enjoyed this post keep an eye for more! My next wish list has a lot of dreamy pastel pink items.
